Are you a loser for working at McDonald’s at 20?

I am looking for a new job and I have an interview with McDonald’s on Tuesday. It’s definitely not my first choice, but if I can’t land any other interviews this week by tomorrow I’ll go. I have to call back another place to let them know I filled out an application and they should set up an interview with me. They’ve interviewed me before and they really loved me, but they wanted me for a different position than I applied for and the position wasn’t available. I’m looking for something that will work around my schooling because I’ll be starting cosmetology school this fall, so whatever I choose to work at right now won’t be permanent. Anyway, would I be a loser if I took the job at McDonald’s? I’m almost 20. I’ll be 20 in April.

If it’s your first job while in school if your 16-21 25+ living with parents and have multiple kids then say yea. But I work for Acme when in the school year.

Learn everything you can, including how to work hard. Learn how to really run it and ask the manager to show you once you are established there. You could move to management, regional management and maybe learn how to be an owner. GROW where you are planted. Always looking up!

Could be just a here thing I don't know. But i know the manager to one of them, and he told me every box they need and it's kinda crazy. I always thought McDonalds was everyone can do it similar with other chain places but apparently not in my case.
