At what age did you get your first job? And how much was your first salary?

A proper job well their only one to consider that would be the restaurant, I started on £3, then £4 and finally £5... my early months I did 20-25 hours a month but the last month was around 70 hours

If you consider the odd days I've worked with my dad, they paid in the £8-10 an hour ballpark

If we count self employment I started at 8 but that stuff wasn't exactly hourly pay and certain not regular
My business make me around £2 an hour, I could pay myself more than that but it would kill my drive and make me too comfortable

My first job at all was in a high tech store. Computers, PC components, gaming and TV screens.
The salary was base line as I was young and inexperienced. I think I was just a few days into my 18th year.
The day or two before I got my driving license.
Got bored of it fast. I'm not made to work as an employee.

(to compare value: a pack of cigarettes was about 3-4 DM (Deutsche Mark) back then)
