I started working at my uncle's full service gas station on weekends when I was 13. When people pulled in, I pumped gas, washed their windows, checked their tire pressure and engine fluids, and took their money and made change.
I also learned how to do oil changes and lube jobs. I learned lots of other things about cars.

When I was 15, I got a job at a snack bar concession inside a grocery store. They made their own cake doughnuts. They made hamburgers, hot dogs and sold deli salads.

When I was 16, I got a job at a fast food place that sold hot dogs, chili dogs, tacos, burritos and tostadas. I worked the drive through and front windows, made up the orders, bagged them, and made change.

I liked working part time for extra spending money, especially after I turned 16 and got a car.

14 they worked me to death nonstop then I had to get out of there for a while and tell them I was going to the Everglades this weekend and then they said you’re too young anyway to work by law you’re not supposed to It was fine by me. I don’t think my dad really wanted me to work anyway because I would help him out in the yard we had a big property and he didn’t want me missing football practice
