If you could own your own business what would you want it to be? Or if you own a business, what is it?

I have owned a few.
I bought my parent's jewelry store and owned it for 32 years.
Loved the work, loved the customers, got to dislike the hours.
I am retired from there, was in our family for 52 years and now someone else owns it.
I became a victim of my own success.
I have been a landlord of a small strip mall building for 25ish years.
It can be a challenge at times, but it isn't that bad.
I had a snowplowing business for 37 years, also retired from that and passed it on a couple of years ago.
I also do some freelance EMT work locally, still a firefighter/emt for 38 years and counting.
And years ago I was a part owner in a boutique children's clothing business.
My girlfriend had the design talent, and I had the business skills.
We did well until we broke up, and sadly the business failed within a year.
Turns out people expect you to pay your bills.
Being self employed can be a good way to earn a living, you get out of it what you put into it, and sadly sometimes that is not enough.
Lots of long hours, missed time with friends, dates etc.
I did enjoy the independence of owning my own businesses as well as the people.
If you go into it thinking I can turn on the lights and the money will come rolling in you may be disappointed with the results.
I can imagine it would be pretty stressful at times
I do own my own business. I'm an audio/video integrator. I do stuff like this:
Also, on the weekends, I'm a mobile DJ. So, yeah, definitely doing my own thing.
I love the idea of owning a business because I like to feel like I’m working for myself and not an abusive boss who does not care about my happiness - I think anything from a floral business to a cake decorating business would be fun - But I currently have the skills for a life coaching business or pastoral discipleship business or academic English tutoring or social skills trainer business or enlightenment instructor.
Right now, here's the plan: urban farm with aquaponic and hydroponic grows of fullsized crops, microgreens, and mushrooms. Aquaculture species are trout or tilapia, ideally catfish/sturgeon/salmon in the future.
Eventually expand into mycellium manufacturing and weed production. When decriminalization hits, add magic mushrooms.

I could happily own the above.

I don't know what kind of business I would want! So I worked with a few, small, Start-ups, and it seems I am pretty good at managing these small businesses, and knowing how to run them, plan, and schedule, even financial things, having an MBA, focused on Small Business Operations!
That sounds fantastic. Make sure you look at all corners of the business plan.
Most business fail.
I have a full time job and I have a side business. I can't do it myself, I often help and seek help. So far so good.

Any business where I don’t have to let customers on the property to steal, bitch, gripe complain, sue because their pancakes weren’t to their liking, basically any business where I don’t have to deal with assholes.

I actually do want to build my own business, but I want it to be in the multimedia and hospitality industry.
I'd start a brick and mortar video game shop, specializing in used games at affordable prices. I'd be doing that if I wasn't disabled.
