I run a electrician business I love it do whatever u love to do and just do it well and talk to a lot of people networking has a lot to do with business getting references/referrals on jobs and ideas and tips/resources on any type of business your working on and it take money to make money always pay your employees and put whatever profits u make back in to your business well I only said the basics of starting your business if u every do start your thing don't be shy to ask me:) good luck!!
My suggestion is to start any business as a part time venture and see how you like it and how it is received by the public. Offer products or services you are passionate about.

Maybe you should PM me I've owned several successful businesses in my life. I have in the past 6 months for some odd reason with no art background or clothes making backgroun, never really designed anything have started designing swimsuits and lingerie a writing short stories and poetry don't ask me why I have no earthly idea but I've sold some of my designs and it's pretty cool.
