I feel like a burden on my parents because I'm 23 and unemployed?

I am yet to graduate with bachelors late as I was not sure about what to do.

Most people already got that degree at 20 and started interning. Here I'm 23 with zero experience.

I regret going to college again because my early 20's were wasted there.
I was stupid to think that college will make things better.
But it only hogged my 3 years where I could have devoted my time to myself instead.


Meanwhile some people who never went to college are earning heavy paychecks.

Well, you're at this point in your life. You can't go back, and you can't change what has already happened. Worrying about things that have come and gone will change nothing. But, the future is always shifting: it can always be guided in a new direction.

The idea is, focus on the present, because it is what we do now that will determine what happens later. The past can teach us, help us learn from our mistakes, but we have to learn to stop holding onto it and shift our views from the past, to now.

So, what can you do now, in the present, that can change what you want to change?

I think I should stop whining and endure this final year. But should also start finding separate time to improve my skills.

Don't feel like that. I felt like that too after I graduated in the middle of the Covid pandemic and struggled to find a job. I got lucky and managed to find something but I have friends who haven't yet.

You aren't a burden. You are just a little stuck in life. Focus on yourself, and really think about what the best path forward for you is.

Who put these STUPID IDEAS in your HEAD?
A college degree is worth a LOT!! You just need to connect with someone, some way, to get a good jobs!!
EVERY FCKING BUSINESS, EVERYWHERE is PLEADING FOR WORKERS!!
If you can't find a good job now, there must be something HORRIBBLY wrong, with you, and I TOTALLY DOUBT THAT!!!

Just one more year left to graduate. I have to give 100% attention to my demanding final year. But when I see 20 year olds earning I feel like damaged goods at 23. I'll totally start looking for one but sad part is I get bare minimum time to work on my skills.

Keep your head up!! FINISH!! That, alone says something to some employers!!
I have worked at two different companies, and part of the interview team/hiring team!
Get some experience, even an internship, this last year, with some company in the industry you want to work in!!
Internships, and CONNECTIONS, with REAL PEOPLE, that can speak highly of you, and what you did, are PRICELESS!!
When I was hiring, if they were equally qualified, with college classes, the one with the Internship (s) ALWAYS got the job, BECAUSE of that experience!
