Would you rather work a 7-3 or a 9-5?

I think there was a study at some poinf showing that people only become real productive after 10 AM, so, from a business standpoint, it would be better to have your employees work 9-5, however, from an employee point of view, I would much rather come to work early and sleepy, and do less work, but be able to have more of the day free for myself.
I know this wasn't asked, but in my country I haven't heard of anyone working those shifts, because most people work 8-4 (or some 7:30-3:30). So if I could choose another time to go to work, I would choose any of those (7 or 9) so that I will not have to stay in trafic for so long to get to work.
I had a job that had a tough commute. My boss let me work 7-3. If I left my house at 6AM I would just pull into the parking lot at 7AM. If I left at ten minutes before 3 I could be home by 4 oclock. If I left at exactly 3 I would not get home until after 5.
7-3 I'm always up early anyways, so rather go in early, got off early and have more time when get off..
Might be switching to a 6-2:30 shift soon
@Brainsbeforebeauty I mean the earlier you finish the earlier you can crack open the gin (I mean at this point I have no idea if you even like gin lol).
@Brainsbeforebeauty... I'm guessing that's a good thing then! How you doing mate?
If I am only working an 8 hr shift I would sooner 7-3.

When I was working (retirement is sheer bliss) we were supposed to be 8- 4:30, but I was always in the office early. Of course it was a city job, so that left plenty of time for breakfast/morning break with my colleague's.
For me 7 to 3 I'm not in a relationship right now and I pick up a lot of side work so 7 to 3 for me is perfect. 6 to 2 is even better
You work 7-3
I work 5:30-3:30 🤷♂️
I would prefer 7-3. Less traffic when driving to and from work - and you get home earlier and have more of the day to yourself.
Ten AM to two PM actually. Four hours is enough for me.
7-3, get it over with. I once worked from 6-3 due to child care responsibilities and it was great to have the office all to myself for 3 hours.
Before I retired, I used to work 6:00 to 2:30.
I avoided all traffic.
It worked for me.
7sm-3pm and 9am-5pm are 8 hour shifts but woukd be paid 7.5 hours because of the 30 minute unpaid lunch break that is mandatory to take with most companies.
I would rather not work..
I am not working for money...
I am working to gain financial freedom..
A. I'm an early riser, so that shift sounds perfect to me.
7 to 3. But I actually prefer 6 to 2, which I already work.
7 to 3 is good , I'd settle for it but I'd love to have a 6 to 2 .
I start work at 7am but don't always finish by 3pm.
A change from 09:00 - 22:00 would be good lol
4 10s is a way better schedule
I love mornings so 7 -3
Prefer 9-5 but stuck at 7:30-4.
Up early, out early.
7-3 job
I'd rather work 24/7
