Business question, no liability for damages?

I'm starting a cleaning business and plan to get public liability insurance.
However, would it be off putting to add in my contract " Will not be held responsible for any damages "
I only ask because I know from experience that people take advantage of cleaners, whether it's to get cheaper holiday rates or free cleans etc etc I don't want to be blamed for something that I did not do.
Protocol for damages is to take a photo and send to client, which I'm more than happy to do, I just don't want to be taken advantage of.

Clauses like "will not be responsible" aren't worth the paper they're written on. Their function is to discourage people who don't understand the law from pressing charges. Get insurance that covers breakages.

I've already stated that I am getting insurance. The problem is being taken advantage of with said insurance, and how to avoid that.

Does the area you reside in require insurance for cleaning services?

It's not mandatory here but saves a lot down the line.

I highly recommend staying somewhere you are insured. That will give customers peace of mind.

It would put me off. You need to tell your customers whether or not you can clean something. It’s fine to say “I don’t know if I can clean that without damaging it.”

Everything can be cleaned, but accidents happen. Which is why insurance is important. But it's not unlike people to say damage and theft was done by the cleaner when in fact it wasn't. That's why I need a disclaimer.

I think it should say 'Will not be held responsible if I walk out the door with all your silverware" in really small print and see if they sign it.
