I was watching that movie Photocopier last night on Netflix. its about a girl who obviously like the title is a photocopier who prints documents for a living that one night her world flips outside down when she goes to a party and someone drugs her and uploads all the monstrosity in social media. she then gets kicked out of college which causes tension between her and her family. so the movie is about her going on a rampage and seeking justice with her bare hands.

till then this movie is and takes place in Indonesia and it striked me so hard how different things are there compare to here in America. It is the polar opposite because obviously almost all American movies based on college all you see is students...

  • partying every night
  • drinking and doing drugs
  • fucking different chicks/dudes each night
  • going on road trips

and the list goes on. so in that movie that main character literally got kicked out of college because she did in her private life what colleges students here do often while in campus.

so I always wondered why do we Americans always make college/university seem like a long wild spring break vacation? is this a way to inspired young folks to actually attend college? could this just be propaganda?
