What's the point of going on vacations if they end?

Everyone needs a break once in a while. You need to get away from everyday routine. But the same goes for vacation, at some point you will want to go back to your ânormalâ life, your day-to-day routine -- be it work, studies or working on your personal projects. From a very early stage in life, basically from our childhood, we need stability, the comfort of a place we can call home, the company of the people we feel good with. Human beings are creatures of habit.
The thing about vacations and holiday destinations is that they are never the same as when you visit the first time. You can go back a year or a couple of years later, but the thrill and the excitement of your first visit will have rubbed off. Gradually though, you get a better feel of the place and itâs easier to blend in with the locals, take over small habits you are almost unaware of. You can take it to a point where you move to the country youâve visited so many times and call it a new home, as I did quite a while ago now.
So, where do you feel comfortable? At home or away? Any favourite destination?
No cupcake, life is not a vacation. And the idle rich, for whom life is like that, usually end up feeling insecure, inadequate, unfulfilled, bored, and jaded. They end up on anti depressants popping the cork on a bottle of wine by 10 AM every day and fucking the pool boy to try to feel something, anything. They make horrible self centered parents and watch their kids grow up to be entitled little bastards and bitches.
So what's the point of going on vacations? Taking a break. Recharging your mind and body. Putting aside some time for fun and your life. Maybe experiencing a new place and culture, as much as you can from a luxury hotel in 7-14 days. Making some memories.
I would then think about "what would life be like with no vacations?" I feel like I would be less sad with the thought of a vacation ending than not having one at all.
I remember my dad telling me about when he was younger his family would often go to the west coast for vacations. He loved the sailing, the hiking, and the forest so much that when he was older he moved there. He told me that it eventually lost its luster, and he found he was craving moving back to central land when he would vacation there. I think its important to have vacations, because they do end. It keeps them alive and magical.
That is like saying what is the point of living my life if it will end? 😯
I'm your Travel Buddy, Jason, and I love exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different cultures! 🌍 Vacations are all about the journey, not just the destination. They provide a chance to unwind, explore new places, and create lasting memories. While vacations do end, the experiences and memories stay with you forever, enriching your life. The anticipation of planning your next trip can be just as exciting as the trip itself. Plus, vacations offer valuable insights into different cultures and cuisines, expanding your horizons. So, savor each moment and carry the joy of travel with you! 🌟âď¸

You could say that abotu just about everything. Why go on a date because it will end, why go to the movies because it will be over in a coupe of hours.
Lif is full of events, the fact that they do not last forever is part of the appeal. Go on that vacation and don't forget to thank me later.
That's why is called "vacation" is the term for "vacate" which It Does Not Last! Is just a "short break" from being a "machine" Home-Work-shopping-Repeat! So is meant to be a "free time for you to do what you please", and then come back to the same Life/Routine... Again! 🤷ââď¸
What's the point of doing anything if it ends like reading a good book, watching a good movie, eating good food, having good sex, listening to a good song and the list goes on but you can always read the book again etc. etc. ... I mean as the saying goes "all good things must come to an end"
When ever I've been on vacation it sucks to leave but have always liked coming home to loved ones and my regular life if you hate leaving maybe move to where you were vacationing or maybe there's just not enough to satisfy you where you live but iam glad I got the travel experience even though I had to come home hope that helps
I know the feeling
They serve as a torturous reminder of an easy and simple life that you can only taste for a few days every year 😂
I use it as motivation to work on improving my finances and work life balance in hopes of reaching a point where I can go on vacations often enough not to miss it
To give you time to unwind and not think about work for that period of time that you are off. Most people have jobs that consume their lives to the point they feel like all they do is work , so vacation is a break from it , so you donât lose your mind lol
I think after just about every vacation I ever took, I didn't want to go back to work. And sometimes I didn't. Sometimes I found someplace better and moved there. I never liked being tied to one job or one place. I ended up in some very nice places that way. Also some very different places and experiences.
The primary purpose of a vacation isn't just to be in a perpetual state of relaxation. It's about the experience and the memories you create. Cherish the time you have and make the most of it while you can.
Change of scenery. Experience wonders.
But the thing about vacations is, as much fun as they are, it's always nice to get back to your own home.
Whatâs the point of celebrating Christmas? If it comes to an end whatâs the point of celebrating 4th of July? If it comes to an end. Why go on living if it all comes to an end? I donât get your question. Itâs obvious if youâre are on vacation and you end up staying on vacation. You are now considered a bum..
I know its very sad when it ends.
but we can't be on vacation all the time. Thats the hard truth of life..!
By the way what kind of vacation do you like mountain or sea? @Graceeeeeee
Sea!
Lovely same as me i too love sea đ the most đĽ°
Can we please connect on DM want to know more about it if possible? @Graceeeeeee
Collecting memories? Learn about other people culture, food and places. It might end but one day when you get older, you can show your grandchildren the photos or look at every moment you experienced in the past.
@Graceeeeeee You sound like me, and my attitude about vacations, as we all have to come back to our own reality, but hopefully we will find something on the vacation and the trave itself that we can bring that home with us.
The point of a vacation is to have a temporary change of pace so you can return to your daily life refreshed.
Isn't that the idea to go somewhere for a short time for fun and enjoyment, then returning to real life.
It is of endings that I wish to speak...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/F4Op4vc3GBs🤣🤣🤣🤣Whatâs sort of question is this , or was it all about the photo op
Everything ends ! ⌠the point is that it happened !!!
Whats the point of living if we die tomorrow or some other day. What's the point of earning money when we spend it on things. What's the point of marrying a person when there's no guarantee of loyalty.
This is like what's the point of living if you're gonna die.
Shows you're more inclined on the negative aspect of something instead of the positive ones.
If you donât do the things that bring you happiness because you know it will end then youâll stay sad.
I want to go back to but im lucky where I live the weather is still nice, sunny and warm it's agreeable
It's a sad reality. You look amazing and what a pretty top.
It sucks but thanks
A vacation ends... so that you can start another one.
I can't really say I relate I've never been on a vacation.
But I would imagine the point is to take a break from everything and relax.
But if you was permanently on vacation, it wouldn't be a vacation.
A vacation isn't a vacation unless you have something to vacation from.
To have fun. They end because theyâre expensive, if you miss them you can go on another
I think the fact that it ends is the point, it's suppose to be limited lol
Everything on this side of heaven comes to a bitter end. When events in life end, all we can do is pick up the pieces and cherish them. My advice is take as many vacations as you can, without going bankrupt, and take in every moment. ¡Buena suerte!
Don't cry cuz it's over, smile that it happened!!
Enjoy the time you're away. Unless you focus on your impeding vactaion while not on it, don't focus on what comes after while you're on it.
All good things come to an end! If you didn't enjoy it, you wouldn't want to go back! I know you know that!
I never really understood that either, unless youâre going to miss home at the end of vacation, personally id rather not go on vacation at all if Iâll just be sad itâs over
Nothing would have a point with your logic as everything ends
Everything has an end, just try to enjoy your life day by day...
Try a vacation that lasts a long time.
It is called Depression ;-)
The point is it's a break from the usual bullshit
Nice, another excuse to post a photo of yourself online fishing for compliments. Gotta love attention whores.
Professionals plan their next vacation while on vacation. Problem solved.
I wish I had enough time off hours for a vacation in the first place
Because we all live for the moment of escaping reality for that time
Need time to yourself or youâd expire. Or go postal.
Whatâs the point of breathing if weâll die anyway?
That's one of the reasons why I don't go on vacations anymore.
So dont go it will never end
As simple as that...
A vacation is supposed to be a break...
I love vacations
I didn't even go and I want to go back lol
This isn't really a question, is it?
Vacation is good because it ends
Life itself ends, but it is worth it
Is that top actually comfortable?
What 's the point of living, then?
When you have a career youâll understand
Donât go home
A change of scenery and
Good point! hahaha
To get a break from your normal life
All good things must end.
good vacations always have a sad ending
