Psychologist... What are some advice you would give someone who wants to become a psychologist?

Rather than focus on a particular title/license, ask yourself what you can see yourself doing. What type of a setting do you want to work in, and with what populations? Understand the field has changed significantly over the years. In the past, the primary focus was helping others. Now, it seems like the primary focus is protecting yourself from lawsuits. Be prepared to do a lot of documentation.
A psychology license is a general license. You can choose your own specialty. You could do therapy, but you could also teach or do research. Rather than asking what others specialize in, do your own research and discover what you'd like to specialize in.
I am not a psychologist, but I know several of them. If you are the type of person to work face to face with people who are having difficulty in life to one degree or another, then the career might be a good choice. I know a lady who works with teenagers and she likes that. I know two ladies who have their own private practice. One of them only does teleconference appointments and she sees between 6 and 8 patients a day.
