I got called to stupid for university?

Hey guys
so i am in highschool and wanna go to university the next year and it bothers me like crazy that my neighbor this old lady were talking about me in the house that i would be too stupid for university and she thinks i go to work (she doesn't know about my future plans and that i go to high school)

If you are hardworking you can make it. Go for it, do your best and it will work out.

And if her words made you uneasy, you can always try studying earlier - if you download university notes now, and start reading them a bit every once in a while, then you will know whether it is fine or too hard.

Plus unless the old lady is your teacher then she has no way of correctly determining your chances at university. Which reminds me, there must be some kind of consultant at you highschool, so you could ask them to evaluate you using some mock tests and stuff.
