If someone gave you a leadership role and you became a leader and then they wanted the leadership role back, would you give it?

Not unless I really don't want it. I have now made my own plans and aren't just going to waste that effort on their failure elsewhere that cause them to want to return. At best they can take a role below me, but with this start I would probably not want that either because they would cause infighting.
