Because it's easy to get nurses from other countries to come here to work. Also if we pay them more then we can't give the managers big fat bonuses every year.

In India they get 120 to 150 us dollars per month in a good private hospital.

  I do know there are many from Canada and Europe working in the sea’s academic medical centers and corporate hospitals. They do very well in USA.
