What’s the difference between a job and a career?

The only difference to me is that a career is likely more longterm and salary based. Jobs feel more temporary and have hourly pay. Neither are quite the same as a “passion” though. A passion is when you love what you do regardless of how long you’re doing it for and how much you’re paid to do it
jobs are something like working to make money.
a career is something that you want to excel at and you keep moving up the ladder to get better and better at the work you do. Some times it is like your life purpose or something.
It's not like there's a hard dividing line between the two. A job is a specific task. A career is more like... a series of jobs. Even if the jobs aren't related it still constitutes as your career I guess.
Job is part of your career... To be successful in your career you have to do different jobs...

I see job as something temporary you do till u land a more stable job (career) where hours are more stable than shift work
But this is my opinion.
I know some career also can fall into shift work
And career or job to me means a way for me to reach my other goals
The career i am in now pays well and all but i still make time to learn skills so i can be ready for any other opportunities in the future
A job is something you have to go to… the money being the drive to go.
A career is working and doing something that you enjoy and grow. Usually nvr thinking of how much time ur working.. etc.
A "job" is being a cashier at WALMART. A "career" is being a store manager at WALMART.
The main difference between a career and a job is that a job is just something you do for money, whereas a career is a long-term endeavour, something you build towards and work upon every day.
