Yes. They think I work with customers as a Claim Customer Service Advocate but I do mostly the computer work, working in different databases to process claims.

People assume my job must be easy as I "just wipe ass, play with kids and drink coffee all day" and it often looks so cozy + fun.

Which is part of my work too but I also deal with: children in pain (and dying) - luckily less of that now, aggressive behaviour: been bitten, had a knife pulled on me, shit thrown at me, someone jokingly telling me how I'd be completely helpless if he did attack me more than once (which was true), I've been called every bad name in the book, been attacked and threatened. But I do get to drink coffee and play with kids, so easy peasy.

Yes, there are a few.
In tv everyone is buff, in their 20s, end up doinking every patient , the nurses or who they rescue, it is always a bus load of hot half naked cheerleaders that they rescue from going off a of a cliff.
It never is an obese 300lb male sitting in his undies who just crapped his pants in a walk up 5th floor apartment with no air-conditioning in 90 degree heat.
Or the drugged out mother that this is the 15th time that you have brought her back from an overdose while her 3 year old is in the crib, or her record is actually 23 times, and fortunately the state took her kid after about the 15th time, or the dumb ass drunks that decided to have a knife fight at 3am, the people that get shot, the fact that people sadly do pass away despite your best efforts, and that is the 5th one you had that shift.
