Do you think movies and TV shows portray your job accurately?

If your job is the subject of a movie or TV show, how accurate is that portrayal?

What do you do and what do you think is the most accurate? According to my grandfather, Barney Miller was the most true-to-life portrayal of police work.

I am an IT manager and they are usually portrayed as pencil necked geeks. It is sometimes true.

yes, it has been 2 years.

yes, exactly. I was able to collect unemployment for 18 months so it was not too bad but I really had to go out and find something else.
