I did that and I'm retraining entirely. Forcing yourself into a job you hate will eventually corrode your health.

It’s really about financial and emotional / mental security and balancing them.

Work out what the lowest salary you can survive AND still have a social life etc that you want.

then look for jobs in areas / sectors you would like working in.

Just remember the grass is not always greener and work mates make a an impact on work life.

Well the job I do now I've been in for 5 years, I keep thinking it gets better but no matter what and how much I try, I lose the job because of 'poor performance'.

Simple
