I'm bummed out about failing the last semester of college term and getting bad grades in nearly every subject. Anyone wants to cheer me?

this a personal question and I'm in mood for some washroom crying. if you want to say something mean, please don't. i already feel pretty awful. the highest percentage is 75, so you can say the professors really did a poor job and we were really under pressure.

I can understand and feel your emotions here, as I, myself am, on the verge of failing this semester. Although it is really very difficult in failing in a semester in our college, they are giving us very tough projects along with the IEEE conference paper submissions and what not.

At least this pressure is better than the JEE-Advanced pressure😅😅🤣🤣. I have a CGPA of 8.72, so I literally can afford to loose enough in this semester.

Nothing happens, chill out. Study for the same subjects. Contact the administration, and they will guide from there.
Re-examinations are taken always, but the timetable is only known to those people who give them. It is not declared publicly.

I think, two weeks after the results are out, are the re-examinations taken. Don't take any tension. Chill out.

And if you are feeling as if your friends will say anything behind your back, just don't care about it. At least I don't take any of my friends remarks personally, or don't even care for them.

The smug kind. Psychology in English as a major is only available in one college, the one I'm studying at. So they're friggin arrogant.

Hey, hey, it's alright. Everyone goes through parts of school where the odds are stacked against them. So much so they have to take a few classes over, or switch directions. My mother, who was a resource teacher in my local high school, went through a math class where the professor HATED her. He hated her for just being a woman, and she failed the first year she took it. She signed up for the class again the next semester and got an entirely different teacher. Instead of coming out with a 68 she had around a 75 - 80. Yeah, it took her one more semester than she liked, but she got it. You can do the same thing.

You are a strong and amazing person for staying in school and pursing a degree. You are seeking out knowledge and a career that will hopefully make you feel fulfilled and happy. That is commendable. You deserve to feel good about that alone. You DESERVE to be happy. You really do.

Don't let them or that piece of paper with your grades get to you. It's just them being jealous at how awesome you really are. Next semester you will blow them out of the water and show them that you are not going to back down. You are going to see this through, and nothing is going to stop you!!

You know who you are. You know what you want to do, and no one can change that. Go get your friends, some drinks, and a cake to celebrate how awesome you are, and to celebrate your tenacity to keep going. Have a party to celebrate the challenge they have given you, and your determination to meet it!!

Go be awesome, because you are!! I love you, keep it up!!

What I can tell you is that our society has hyped up the importance of college to an incredible degree. The reality is that this isn’t fatal. It is a disappointing setback, a curveball, a bump in the road. In five years you will probably not even think of it much. You might have to try again, you might have to change your plans and find employment in a different area than what you wanted, perhaps you might choose to go to trade school and find a lucrative skilled trade.

I once knew a person who bombed the last year of college and barely graduated. Couldn’t get a job in the chosen field, so ended up in customer service. After a couple years got noticed and was leading a team. Went to business school and ended up in management.

This is a bend in your path, not a dead end. You’ll be okay.

Well I'm going to look at it like this you are probably one of the smartest people that I don't know and I would have to say that you're going through something are trying to find something or understand something and it's taking up your time.

It said I don't know you but do your answers are your questions and it seems like this is un like you for you to allow this to happen.

So I'm curious about your distraction and what it might be both know that you can make it up and we both know that's a great that you did get is probably better than most people in the class LOL

Remember one thing. Your rank in college does not portray your capabilities. Good grades are always preferred but even if you pass college just by scraping through is kinda enough too. Most of what is taught in school n college ain't gonna be of much help unless you specialize in some field. I was average in college and now I'm designer for submarine projects. So don't think of the future. Concentrate on the present which is going through college.

It is not the end of the world. If there was an underlying reason for this you need to fix the problem before you go back. Most colleges have counselors for this sort of thing. You should make an appointment to speak with one. Don't just give up because of this setback.
