okay, well, you got a bad grade cause you had points marked off, and it was either cause you answered the questions wrong, you didn't put anything down or there is missing information according to the rubric, or the way the question was being asked, or you turned in something that wasn't relevant to the assignment or you didn't explain well how it is relevant to the assignment. I have no idea what you got a bad grade on and if you worked really hard on it, but assuming you have no idea what's wrong with your work, I'd say talk to your teacher and don't expect them to change it but be open to their suggestions and try to think of what influences you to make certain choices that lead to this grade. maybe you misread something in the chapter or the instructions, maybe you were studying with a friend or loud noise in the background, or you didn't sleep well from something else in your life. it all comes full circle and it will probably happen again but you don't have to get upset, just make a plan based on your results and how to get better ones next time, or take a break from your homework to feel better like watch a movie or play with your friends. if you're in ninth grade, you should not be sweating anything, you are still a kid. if you want to go to a certain college and thats why, ask yourself why do you want to go there and what they ask for and what you have and make the comparison, is this school where I want to be or am I following a trend cause that's where people say i should go and people say I need to have this this and that etc. do what makes sense for your lifestyle and improve where you can and let go of what you can't change if it requires changing everything that makes you, you.

You are 23 and in 9th grade? I am guessing you had more than one bad grade if that is the case. However, to answer the question, you need to figure out what went wrong. Go back and study that really hard. Figure out why you got the bad grade and learn from the mistake.
Then, make sure you prep for your next exam a lot. Study really, really hard. Makes sure you get the best possible grade here on out. Study with someone else that is good in the class. Ask the teacher for help!
You may feel much better though just coming to an understanding as to why you got that grade. Once you understand and correct your mistakes, you will feel a bit better knowing you understand the material. Good luck!
I had a lot of practice with this. I just sucked it up, looked at what I did wrong and tried to do better next time.
If you are age 23 and going into the ninth grade you must have had more than a single bad grade:

I had low grades when I first began high school but I improved it with practice and training and I know guys who had PhDs from Yale that flunked their first test in undergrad, you are both with an incredible ability to improve yourself so donβt give up, God loves you and you can do it!
