Why do you think the University of Toronto got dethroned as the top Canadian school?

I know 14 years ago, McGill beat them in the rankings as well.

i Knew a lot of people that when there and its a tougher school to get into because of the standard they set. The problem is they have such high standards with such a high cost and really nothing to show for it that in the end other than a degree with their name on it. Its better to go to a smaller university with reasonable standards and cost and get equally if not a better education. McGill is one yes but there are also a lot in Ontario alone that beat out UofT
