Are North American Universities getting lower rankings now?

Yale is number 16 and the University of Toronto is around 30.

Yale used to be number 8 and the University of Toronto used to be number 10.

Schools like Tsinghua which used to be in the 34 range are now in the teens or twenties in the rankings.

As foreign schools gain prestige, North American schools lose prestige.

This should be no surprise. Most colleges abandoned academics 20-30 years ago in favor of pushing left-wing politics. When math is racist, when males can give birth, and Marxism is utopia, what else did you expect to happen?

One of the reasons so many men are skipping college is because they don't want to pay big money to go to college where they can turn in a perfect assignment and get a C grade because they are white and male - and therefore wrong by default - while another student who is brown and female gets an A despite some wrong answers because she was oppressed. This may sound like an exaggeration - if not a parody - but it's very real in many universities today. As is segregation - which is encouraged as a good thing.

Students are often given full class credit if they will go and protest in support of their professor's cause - always a far-left cause, to be sure.

I'm still amazed that ANYONE takes these institutions seriously.

After covid, colleges went off the rails. They locked down, required masks, did away with live instruction and lowered their standards so nobody would fail. They saw that they could save a ton of money not having to maintain a campus they continued the practice. They saved money but began to put out a substandard product. A college degree is not what it used to be,
