How crazy do you think it is that I spent a year and a half leaning about every country in the world?

I just thought it would be interesting and worth doing to learn as much as I could about the world.

I would use online sources and documentaries to learn about different countries history, culture, economy, and geography.

This was from the beginning of 2018 until May 2019.

I think that's cool. My husband is an immigrant to the US and he knows more about US history than I can remember! He knows a lot about the anatomy of the world b/c he finds that interesting also. We went to a bar on Saturday and he noticed the bartender was of some different descent and probably knew Spanish. She was from Guam. He knew that was US territory, but in the Pacific.. Do u know that? I don't remember! They look sort of Hispanic, but they're Fillipino?

Yes Guam is a pacific territory that speaks Spanish because it was a Spanish colony before the Spanish American war.

I think honestly it’s not crazy, it’s the opposite.. it’s normal and it’s beautiful, since learn about and appreciate the variety of the world is something giving sense to all human existence. The world is beautiful because every place it’s different from the others and discover and explore it is one of the purpose of a curious mind.

I'm surprised it took you that long since there are only 200 countries, and you probably don't remember every detail. But if you at the very least know one fact, that's good enough.

You still need to learn about the colonies.

I don’t remember everything but I remember a lot.

Some countries took longer then I thought to learn about.
Like ancient countries like Egypt took forever.
