Can high school help me learn how to make books?

I hope I get the elective class I chose. I need to learn how to make books just as much as I need to learn how to drive, because these books Willa pay for the (Aauaudhdhshnedklsffffd obscurely priced) gas. Can school help or will I just need to use my old ways but in a more professional way? What’s IN the book is already in production, it has been since 2020. I’m referring to the book itself. Like, how to put the pages in the spine? Glue or something? PFFT

You don’t do that yourself, you pay publishing companies to do that for you if it’s a self publication or you get a professional business to publish your original creation and pay you royalties for your work, which you should patent with lawyers to avoid getting scammed, and you might need your parents to act as your power of attorney in publishing because where I live, it’s illegal for people under 16 to have professional jobs beyond basic things like delivering newspapers or selling chocolate and lemonade to neighbours etc…

Oh yes, that I am aware. I scouted for possible Allie’s a while back, still have two on my list. I’m taking about MAKING the book itself. This is like if I asked “how do I make a car” and you said “buy one”

What you seem to be describing is taking printed pages and forming them I to a book.


That's called book binding, and is pretty skilled as tasks go. I'd look on YouTube tbh, because I highly doubt 60% of the folk on here have only ever read what's on their social media feed.

Probably not, but I've known a few bookmakers, and bookies can make pretty decent bank if they know how to set their spreads wisely.
