WWhat do I do when people at work try to ask about my life but I want nothing to do with then?

At my new job they are evil nasty people. I want nothing to do wth them. I want to work and thats it.

I've lost hope for finding a good workplace. Most of my jobs have been full of harassment and or nasty mean people. Im just over it and i accept i have to deal with it i can't just run away to a new job whenever i dont like something. Also ita hard as hell to even get a job.

Yup it sucks but it sucks way more if i have to be more friendly than necessary with them... thats why um seeking tips how to ice them out and get them to leave me alone and lose interest. I really jus want to do my job and get out. Its bad enough i have to hear their evil words all day in the background (they are nasty mean people who gossip all day about everyone such as customers and each other and brag about evil stuff they have done).

I work retail. I wish i could work in a different area but whatever it is what it is

They just start to act cold towards me by themselves after the first encounter.

I'm actually way too trusting and sweet person... Thats the problem. When im surrounded by evil people i have to shut down and stuff.

It is not like I repel them. I don't get along with them because I don't feel any genuine connection with them. Like they truly want to get to know me

Yeah i dont even have friends. Im an outcast. But i know id rather be alone than be close with evil people. And yeah i also relate to not feeling welcome by them. A lot if not most people can't even listen to me say even one word. Its all abot them and them getting every stupid thought out their mouths. They are in love with their own voice.

You described it so well. That is exactly how I think of them. I feel disgusted to be around ones like that. I can't hide it and they sense that. I feel bad of myself because it. I feel like an outcast as I mentioned. And I got no friend too

I been an outcast for a long time and no friends as well so im used to it so it doesn't bother me lol i just wish i didn't have to talk to tem at all but at work you have to play along at least a little

that is the problem. you have to play along, there is no other way. And that is hard for me at least. it is the reason being outcast is problematic

And i have accepted that im outcast. Thats fine. Im not going to join in eith their evil talks and joking just to avoid being seen as an outcast. I do the work so they will have to accept me unless the boss wants to find a phony reason to fire me, who knows. But if i do the work well enough then maybe he wouldn't want to fire me. I don't know.
