What are the documents and procedures required to get a driver's license in The USA?

I don't know as I don't live in America. In order to get a driver's license in my country, first of all, it is necessary to get a health report from the hospital. There should be no disease that prevents being a driver. After this report is received, a driver's license is issued after going to the driving school and taking the necessary training and successfully passing the exam. How does the process work in America?

Like everything else in America, it depends on the state where you plan to become licensed. With the exception of commercial licenses to drive large trucks and busses and regulated by the federal government), each state sets its own rules.

Here in Florida, if you are starting at square one (no US license at all) you must provide a U. S. Passport, an original birth certificate or a state-issued certified copy of your birth certificate to prove your identity. Bring your original Social Security card or a W-2 tax form that shows your Social Security number. You must also provide two proofs of residential address including deeds, bills in your name, or a school transcript from the current school year.

You are required to pass vision and hearing tests which are given onsite. Since you have never been licensed in the USA a written test and a driving test- in your own vehicle, are required. There are plenty of other details, but you get the idea.

First, you have to get a learner's permit. With this, you also get a booklet teaching you the rules of the road and a little about how to drive. You MIGHT have to pass an eye exam, first and possibly get glasses. You get a friend, tutor or relative to let you practice driving their car for a while so you get used to doing what you need to be able to do. Once you think you've got it down pretty well, you go to the DMV and apply for a license. They will give you a written test that you have to pass. If you don't pass, you'll have to study the booklet more and come back to take the test again. If you pass this, they will assign you an instructor to ride with you as you drive around following their instructions. If you fail this test, you need to practice more driving and possibly read the booklet some more. When you finally pass that test, you go back inside the DMV and they will take your picture and give you a license.

In Canada it's not like that they just do an eye exam if you got all your limbs you're good. And if you're able to read English, as well as not twitching out like a spaz then you're perfectly fine to get your license and do the testing.
But if you twitch out like a spaz pretty much a person with Tourette's no go
If you fail the vision test that you're going to be required to get glasses
If you don't have all your limbs well you may not be able to ride a motorcycle you may be able to ride a slingshot but but a car you'll most likely be able to ride unless you got no hands but then again you could drive with your feet but that's a different case all together and it's not in the law

But overall you can just walk in do your test walk out done no answer but no health check up or nothing

And it's easy to convert your licenses here so if you live in the US very easy if you're Chinese well you're going to have to renew your license completely you can't convert it over. You can however have a shortened time span on getting your full g license
But this is due to the fact that Chinese drivers are terrible and therefore are required to do the testing all over again but besides other nations perfectly fine like New Zealand Australia Britain or the cash say including a US perfectly

A lot of it depends on the course you're going to and taking as far as tests or documents go. Having your birth certificate and your SS cards would probanly be safe. Some courses have like an actual written test, some don't. Some don't even have the road skills test

You have to go to a test of driving if you pass then just id and social card
