Aspects of dating but also the difference chances that an apprenticeship comes along with in comparison to studying in terms of how the effects on wage and living arrangements. Because I come from a country where studying at the university is comparing to the US very cheap. But schools don´t teach enough about the chances of the chances an apprenticeship would bring. So most of the youth wants to study at the university hence they think it´s the only way to make a reasonable amount of money.
That way there are like 300 students graduating from just one university every year and they have problems finding jobs and start at lower paid levels because the businesses don´t have as many positions to take them at the right level.
At the same time many mechanical jobs have no applications hence people don´t think they could live a good life working in them even though they pay well.
Another thing I wasn´t taught at all were workout mechanism in terms of building muscles that´s something I was taught in theory in biology a bit but not in sports, we never worked out in sports and we didn´t learn how muscles develop and grow stronger.

Back in the mid 2000s, they never taught taxes and how to file them. My school also never taught how to fix stuff, although other more small-town schools do.

Nowadays, they need to teach basic adulting to Gen Z kids. Stuff like how to pay your bills, clean up your room, and how to act on a job interview.

Critical thinking, financial and employent planning, decent sex ed, health and wellness, first aid training, and homecare. All of these can be taught in a semester instead of a full year and people would be better adults for it.

I went to a high school that did not teach Trigonometry. When I went to college it was problematic. I never really understood what all that sines and cosines were about.
