How long do I have to switch my 401k over?

Last I checked, I had just hit 1k. I started a new job less than two weeks ago. They do have 401k I wanted to get my first paycheck and make sure I’m making what I was told I would and make sure I like it. So far I do but I wanted to give it about a month, but I don’t wanna risk waiting too long. Is it ok to wait a month or should I go ahead and get it transferred? And how do I go about that? I was gonna call my old job’s 401k and ask and go from there

You aren't required to switch at all. You can leave everything in your old 401k and just start contributing to your new one. You can switch your old one over at any time in the future.

Call old 401K. I think it can be kept as it is or rolled over. You must have enough time.
