Earning a B. A in History…. is it worth it?

What is a history major, I know it a thing but for anyone who have one can you explain what do you do for work or what can you do as a career. I love history and been struggling to know what I want to major in, so is it a good degree to go for?

The only thing I can think of that it would be good for, would be to become a history teacher. I do know one guy from college who was a history major, who became a corrections officer and saved his money and then went to law school.

Geography PhD or masters are in great demand and can pretty much name their salary to Global and Cultural trading. It is driven global Business. History plus Geography for large companies in developing world (SE Asia, for instance) are highly sought after.
