What should I do if my job applications always get rejected? Why it is so difficult to find a job?

I just applied a lot of job applications and none of them give me a response. When I did some job interviews, they ended up not offering me the job. I got rejected a lot. What should I do in this situation? I am feeling so frustrated right now for not being able to find a job or get a job. I always get rejected multiple times. I am so tired to do this all alone. What's the solution guys?

That's kinda how it is. Applying doesn't guarantee a job offer. You take it on the chin and move forward.

See if there are any skills you can develop. Like a short course. If there's a specific job in a specific field you want, you could do a course in that field, maybe find freelance ways to do the job. Not to be freelance but to gain some experience in the field that can be added to your CV and get some cash.

Another nore ballsy move is to go in person (if you haven't done it already) to your top choices (if there are any) and follow-up.

Another thing to consider would be... what position are you applying for? Are you willing to go for a position that may be below your qualifications at first?

Of course i am willing to go for a position that is below my qualifications. The thing is that i got a chance to do an internship in administration without salary. And the internship lasts for about 3 months. But, is it really worth it to do an internship without getting paid? I thought not, so i declined the offer. I already applied for freelance kind of job but they haven't called me yet.

I think I want to give up looking for jobs or working for a company. Is it a better alternative to try to become an entrepreneur? Is it a good idea to work at my dad's company? Cause I have a chance to work there too.

Sometimes you have to accept what comes your way to help you stay afloat. I learned that the hard way. But it doesn't stop you from doing something on the side. If you work for your father's company, there's some security and if you want to grow your own business, it's something you can do at the same time little by little.
That's what I would go with, but it's up to you. Just closely consider the pros and cons of any option.

You're welcome. I find myself in a similar boat and I'm surrounded by people who started with the job for security while building their business on the side. Once they got a solid foundation, they quit the other one.
Another piece of advice I've gotten is diversify a little, lol.

I apply for jobs that have the same background as my previous jobs. And also jobs that are related to my degree. Still no results.

So mention what degree and job you had so people can suggest how to improve your value and better your chances to get to job interviews. Usually when you get to the interview it's more about your actions and personality than your skills. So if you frequently get that far but not further you have to think about what you are saying.

@Adam1978 well my degree is bachelor degree in English literature. I applied for different positions, some of them are teachers, tutors. And my previous job is a sales administration and customer service, i was responsible for the sales in that company. I apply for jobs that are mostly related with administration and customer service.

From my experience from working at the previous company, they are not satisfied enough with my work performance, so that they don't offer me the new contract. I was still at the training period for 3 months. And they don't extend my contract. Meanwhile, they extend my coworker's contract for the same position. I am feeling hurt by this.

Okay you have a bad degree, (no one demands it) and a butchered career due to having a company that tells companies that you aren't suited for it.( true or not doesn't matter) In that situation you need to really rethink what you really want to do in life. Customer service is probably not it. It's a shit industry who have high turn around with bad pay and horrible work environment. Many just do it until they can get something better. You need to get yourself a new skill set something you enjoy but is still demanded in the market.

@Adam1978 if i am interested in administration position, what kind of skills that i need to pursue? Is there any online class out there or workshop that can help me to get a skill that i needed in administration?

I applied for teachers job even though I don't have the experience or skill in that position. That's probably why it's difficult for me to get a job. Most of the job demand in English literature is to become a teacher, or tutor. Though i don't have the experience that i needed to get that kind of job. What's the solution for this? Should I become an entrepreneur instead?

Entrepreneurs isn't really something you just becomes, you need money and resources and a great business sense. If you had that you wouldn't be in today's situation. Administration requires knowledge in what you adminstrate ie what's needed to keep the place running. It's usually a part of another job. You rarely just do administration unless you work for the government.

Now I have a far better handle on it --
Firstly make sure you have a spoken resume on You Tube as a back up factor , you just have to find " point of difference " , try and relish the entire interview process , set yourself apart , give you an example , I am old ( a different challenge in itself ) when I came back to Aussie for a bit I wanted to work ( I've since been successful in obtaining 5 roles ) So whats the first negative they are going to think about an old white guy? Is he healthy? Is he IT literate? Can he fit in with young people? , and other stuff , so I addressed all those upfront , my weight and fitness ( Im very fit ) , my IT skills.
You need to do this but in reverse -- They dont think your experience in enough , on the front foot show em it is , talk up your degree , talk up communications.
Write a list about yourself for yourself ( positives and negatives ) then address all these issues yourself , so you have the answers.
When writing a cover letter , don't use proforma , mention why you'd be grate for the company , so good points as to why you are the obvious choice..
Expect to be selected , and if not - NEXT - Watch your own you tube spoken resume , be as confident as possible , but if you enjoy the process , trust me , all will change to the positive.
