How do you become street smart?

I can handle/being a book smart. But I want to be a street smart.

I just feel kind of lost when I am roaming outside.

I feel unfortunately, you're talking about being smart with life and with that you just have to learn the hard way/original way!

It means not being naive to people trying to take advantage of you honestly. It means being WISE (through maybe one's own life experiences. Hard or tough life lessons, etc. Joining gangs, gang related stuff lol..). But yeah, it's basically through life experience OR just listening attentively to those who HAVE gone through it and to make sure to be careful and to not repeat those mistakes that others have made!

Street smart just means you understand people of the more dangerous variety... or maybe the more sneaky types. It just means you have a lot of world skills... You weren't sheltered growing up...

I pretty much think that I was quite sheltered growing up. Any kind of crash course to even get half the way?

I don't think there is a short cut to get the skill, you just have to spend time with lots of different types of people and see how they act and behave.

Study sociopathy and narcissism. A Combined 25 percent of crime is probably committed by people in these groups. Possibly more.


Then study methods people use to steal and rob and con. Study the methods of criminals.


Gotta know your adversaries general modus operendi and how they achieve their goals.


Then study ways to counter act them.

You gotta just kinda put your ear to the ground so to speak. be around people outdoors in coffee shops bars restaurants. learn local phrases idioms and the like to communicate in a language people around you know.

Just don't think about it lol. like i always try the 3 second rule. when you want to talk to someone do it within 3 seconds when you see them so you don't start second guessing yourself and talk yourself out of doing it...

just practice. i literally just don't give a fuck ill talk to whoever lol

I don't think that's what street smart means. It's handling yourself with people who don't follow the rules. Indoors or out.
