Does honors credit boost your GPA in college?

I graduated with a 3.87 with the associated honors, "smart people orgs", and research background as well as previously built research relationships from summer work. Basically, I was functioning as a RA to the RA who were serving their Professors. It was good for freshmen to junior work. I went to interviews with research questions that pertained to individual programs where I was applying. Got RA and third year into TA and never paid a dime. Grades are nice but everyone has them...

Not sure. But i can tell you once you're out of college, no employer gives a shit what your gpa was

Yeah, I know. I just want the scholarship money to get my master's for free. I haven't had to pay anything yet.

They told me I had to get into the honors program and told me I couldn't get the gold medal unless I did volunteer work. I am doing that shit.

But it will say graduate with honors, and it will be on my transcripts. Even if they gave me the medal, I'd probably sell it for money.

When I went to university, your honours name was determined by your GPA and not your course selection. I was an honours graduate but did not indicate that on my resume. I figure if I mention I got straight A’s no honours title is necessary.

In the college I go to, they let you work on extra projects with the professor and get honors credit, or you can take an honors course that is more challenging than the regular classes.

I just take regular classes and do a project with the professors because it's usually just an extra research paper. So it's not too tricky to get into the honors program. It's a 2-year college, not a 4-year. I just need the credit so I can transfer well.

Thank you. I love college too. Math is a lot of fun. I am trying to finish all the challenging classes at the 2-year so when I transfer, I dont have to worry about it.

GPA is grade point average , so no it doesn’t. GPA is based off of your grades only
