Why does my female boss hate me so much? I’m young and pretty but I’m good at my job?

Young, pretty and competent is something that very well could be seen as a potential threat to an older woman. Even to this day, our society tends to uplift attractive women until they hit their 30s. It’s not right but it happens. And it happens in business, in Hollywood, in the music industry … pretty much everywhere.

Well she’s ruining my life and turning it upside down but doesn’t do it to others.

If she is focusing the negativity towards you, it’s likely she finds something about you a real threat.

If she is breaking company policy in how she is treating you, I’d find out how and who to report it to. If she’s breaking the law, look up what to do in your state. If, however, she is making it Hell for you but not doing either of the above, I’d say the only option left would be to find other employment. Trust me, it’s not worth staying somewhere when they don’t respect you.

I’m looking for new jobs. But I am already pursuing legal action against her but the company only wants to settle it for nuisance value.

That has happened to me too and it sucks. I have not had good experiences with female bosses.

It’s especially towards me. I didn’t do anything bad enough for her to treat me this way. Even others notice it.

Sounds like petty jealousy to me, and you should consider looking for a few job.

Well you shouldn't put people down like that. She's a human just like you. But yeah, if you don't like her, you can always tell her to treat you better or find somewhere else to work.

Oh no she’s genuinely a terrible person. Trust me I don’t say things like this about anyone just casually. She’s racist, homophobic, cuts peoples jobs because she only wants Chinese people on her team, doesn’t pay people for all hours worked, etc.
