I just got offered a new job
My dream job in finance!
I start in 2 weeks

But they sent me an offer letter and agreement contract

They were eager for me to sign the contract

Is it weird they want me to sign it first before they do?
So i signed it and sent it back to them

In my 2 interviews - They did keep asking me if I was interviewing with other finance companies and I said yes but was mostly interested in this role lol

They want to hire you but want your commitment enough to be sticked to their company till your work tenure with that particular company. Companies do this with the intention of securing an employee to themselves and won't be interested in hiring someone that can risk doing financial fraud to their companies by involving relations with competitors companies. This is moral that any employee needs to follow whether or not company mentions in their contract. Their contract makes sure you're committed to them in financial matters while you're working for them

I don't like this. Did you read the contract? What did you agree to? Am ethical employer won't ask if you are interviewing elsewhere. They all that to know help them adjust their offer -- if you have no other prospects that figure they can offer less. It's Russia a salaried position?

No, this sort of thing is normal.
Your job offer IS their signing the contract, so to speak.

No, Id say its a sign they really want to hire you. But, make sure you go over the contract real carefully.
