which one do u think the basic accent in English?
which accent do u advice me to learn and focus on?
I'm American and that's what I prefer.
General American, also known as Standard American, GenAm, American English, US English, Detailed American English or RHOTIC is the most commonly required, and the most commonly observed accent in US film and television today. It can't be identified with a certain region or culture.
There are lots of accents in the U. S. and UK. They are regional.
I admit that I find upper class UK English accents to be affected, pretentious, and annoying. It cracks me up when it is employed in film to denote intelligence, breeding, and sophistication.
i see that too..
the British accent are not comfortable to hear.. i Think its an edition of American accent so i think the American is in the 1st level... Australian is 2nd... British is in 3rd..
but i noticed thing lately that American speaks so fast and its about to be un understandable
There's no basis accent in English. And not British and American English have numerous of dialects within.
