We need to memorize 36 pages for oral recitation. I can't?

Unless one has a photographic memory it is difficult. Do it in sections and it can be done. I have had oral/comps with that kind of component. Three words at a time continually until three full sentences at a time. Complete one paragraph aloud in movements of three from beginning to end. Good luck with that huge task !!

To be honest I’d just google ways to memorize large amount of information if I were you. You’re not impaired your brain just never had to do that. The brain is like a muscle it’s possible to do that if you’re willing and disciplined enough to stick with it.

When I was in school, I took a class where I had to memorize between 2 - 11 pages word for word each week. I knew 11 pages was hard so I would begin memorizing the 11 pages 3-6 weeks ahead of schedule on the easier weeks where I had less than 6 pages to memorize in that specific week.
