I was out of work for a few months due to a stroke onset and needed lots of care. How can I convey that to employers in my job search?

I don't know what it's like where you live, but where I live, no one wants to work. They pay $18.00 per hour at McDonald's, and half of the time they can't even open the lobby. It's drive-thru only. Don't tell the employer jack shit. If you're worried about a gap in your work timeline, just say you had to leave work to take care of your sick mother. They won't dare ask about that, because they know better than to get into medical privacy issues.
