Have not yet graduated from college.
In high school, it was a platform. We did ours outside in front a huge Georgian building with white pillars called Archbold. We got up, walked to the stairs on the one side of the platform and crossed to the other side. Sort of a stage but it wasn't.
Here's a picture at my high school now. We didn't have the weird cover things over the platform.

Highschool I graduated on stage cause I wanted to graduate with my friends.
Community college I skipped out on graduation and had them mail me my associates diploma. The reason being was graduation for the community college was going to be in December and I was transferring to university that August.
University I definitely walked on stage.
This time I don't know I'm probably going to have the university I am currently mail me my diploma for my masters degree honestly.

Skipped it for college... that stuff is lame. Skipped it for High School as well.
I think that stuff is for attention freaks or people with parents that want to take pictures.
Boot camp was a forced ceremony, but I sure didn't have anyone fly out just to watch me march around like a retard.

On stage. High School and Uni. I feel sorry for those young un's who missed their graduation bc of COVID.
Never graduated! I moved to another country and all i did is learning the language, work, study for a career and so far , so good. I could have done better if i was in Sweden at a younger age (under 18) bit i was almost 21 when i arrived 🤷♂️
Stage, they said it was mandatory but my teacher could've been lying.
I'm not allowed on campus to walk across the stage for grad school because I don't have a covid passport. Even after all this time, high minded academia still enforces their othering of those outside their echo chamber by armed guards.
All my two graduation ceremonies were boring as hell, nothing like the movies and just with one I had to go on stage, take my certificate and go home haha
I had graduated on the school team's football field instead because the ceremony took place outside
I went to my girlfriend's college graduation because the parents were in town and it was sort of "required". LOL She graduated a semester before me, same school, but once I saw how lame the whole thing was, I skipped my own!
It was many years ago... both my high school and college graduations were on stage. I didn't skip either of them.
I didn't even graduate, I got kicked out at 14 and never got back to school cause I thought it was just a waste of time
I was home schooled. The only ceremony I have earned was for my GED in 2010
I did not bother with a couple of my graduations.
I have 3 college degrees , I skipped the middle one. I completely forgot about it. George Bush Sr, was the commencement speaker.
I walked across the stage when I graduated from high school. Then I graduated from college. Walked across the stage when I was in the military and graduated from there. How are you

I was busy working so I skipped all the hoopla.
