Should I not have finished work for my whole group?

Our work was getting late beyond the submission, and still wasn't finished. I was getting stress and annoyed so I just finished the last part on my own. Now, we have an extra day and I feel as though I shouldn't have done that because they probably wanted to help or do part of it as well.
