No I became who I am by experiences mostly, I would say invest your time into books that speak about several perspectives about topics, i believe that will build character.

The best book I've read is John Eldredge "Wild at Heart". I've got a paperback and the Audible version read by the author.

Thats tricky... but you should avoid novels instead read or listen politics, crime and current news.

my commute to work is almost an hour so i've been listening to podcasts but lately i started listening to Sherlock Holmes. fun...

Doyle was a GENIUS

he was had a lot of emotional intelligence compare to Sherlock Holmes but Sherlock Holmes was very alert and could notice everything around him, think deeply and how to get out of situations. which shows that he is pretty Smart too just that he's not great with reading the room and doesn't have great social skills really :)

i liked how he described the difference between seeing and observing. it helps me be more mindful of my surroundings... and by doing that i tend to remember more details.

its always good to observe your surroundings and make sure that nothing misses your eyes too. Then think deeply about what your observing... take it all in really well.
