I want to excel at my job. Luckily I am not behind, but I also can't get ahead right now with the information I have.

I am a medical coder. Our office is switching to the records software called Epic. Therefore nobody in the office is really that good at using it.

I am wondering if anyone here is proficient in Epic or knows someone who is. If so, can you or that person teach me how to use it better?

I don't know what I need to know, and therefore I can't practice it.

I am at the same level of proficiency as my colleagues. I would have to be able to contact people outside my group to find someone who may be more proficient, and I don't know who they are. I don't even really know my colleagues.

No idea. But I just googled it and there’s tons of how to videos about Epic (EHR?). Even a course in it. Seriously this is how you get ahead.

I do this with marketing and had to learn html 5…at least some of it to stay ahead.
