Do things become easy when you get the gist of it?

I decided on a book idea this week after running through over 300 possible topics and it’s been 3 days and I already have 3000 words for my book. At this rate, I could finish a draft in 3-4 months, could even write 4 drafts in a single year. A revision could take as little as 2 days since grammar would be the only thing that it would require improvement on and maybe a month to format the title page and 2 months to legalize copyright issues.

When I wrote my first book series, it took me 4 months to finish book 1. The second one only took 2 months. I think once you know where you're going with your story and have a storyline started, it becomes easier.

Plus, I grew attached to my characters, and that made it easier.

I thought about writing a self help book about common sense. But if it made sense they wouldn't publish it 🤷.
