I remember having those types of dreams for quite a few years after graduating from college. Our minds remembering the stress from it perhaps.
Dreams about school or exams are quite common, even for people who have been out of school for years. These types of dreams can be related to feelings of stress, anxiety, or pressure to perform that may be present in other areas of your life. It's also possible that these dreams are a reflection of unresolved issues or unfinished business related to your experiences in school.
If you find that these dreams are causing you significant distress or anxiety, it may be helpful to explore these feelings with a therapist or counselor. They can help you better understand the underlying emotions and experiences that may be contributing to these dreams, and provide tools and strategies for managing stress and anxiety in your daily life.
Happens to a lot of us. Can go on for decades.
