**Can Be Anything You Feel is Special. xxoo
Hmm, well, last year I started a book series, which I never did before. I wrote other novels, but never a series, and now I just started book 4 of my Destination Fear series. It feels kind of nice seeing my characters become better people, well, most of them lol. My character Valentine is kind of back and forth because she's a control freak, lol.
Seeing them develop feels like an accomplishment. I'm also noticing you kind of grow attached to characters in a book series.
Eating at Dennys lol joke
@exitseven I might eat a Dennys maybe three times a year for late night breakfast when nothing else is open

I'm in MENSA, have a 6-figure career, and I'm doing a half marathon this weekend in body armor in preparation for the Boston Marathon associated Tough Ruck in April. I did 8 years outside the wire, receiving high commendations from Flag Officers of the military of three different countries. I give generously to charity, was a former successful sous chef, and currently take care of two adorable rescue kittens. I have curated a diverse wine and art collection. I have friends who would gladly stack on the corner and clear a building if I asked. I enjoy a plethora of activities outside as well as building bespoke furniture from reclaimed or repurposed wood, occasionally with my wonderful mother who got me interested in this endeavor. I brought an abused dog and kitten back from Afghanistan and gave them good lives here. I've met some truly inspirational people along the way, and I'm honored to have been a part of their journeys. There's a bunch of stuff I'm not particularly comfortable with putting on the internet that's equally if not more important to me, but all in all, it's been a pretty f'ing awesome life.
@exitseven Longest I ever did outside patrols was 25k, but i also only had on 25lb then. Going for the heavyweight division which is 30 or 35lb. Now that I'm out of the Army, I think it'll really be good to be back in THAT crowd again.
@BoopBoopBeep It is a shame that these events did not exist when I was younger. I would have been really good at them. i hovered around the 3 hour mark for a marathon because I was too heavy at 175-180 pounds. The little skinny guys were the real elite runners. I would have been good at parkuor or some obstacle courses events.
@exitseven Only way I'm getting 3 hours is if you drop me from a plane and time me vertically ;)
1 . Being born in the first place , youngest of 5 , complete accident.

3 . Playing pennant golf , club golf ( it whats now called Colts for Rossdale , Victoria golf clubs ( Australia )
4 . Getting roles as a Sales representative with company vehicles , a massive goal.
5 . State Sales manager Bic Australia.
6 . Massive career change to land development sales at senior levels , sort after and known for these roles ( 25 years ) .
7 . Taking those funds made and investing for passive income , rather than wasting on cars , women and trying to impress.
8. Complete financial freedom , I do what I want.
9 . Using same to relocate to Hua Hin Thailand , while holding assets in Australia.
Could have all been much much better , but I've done okey.. ohh and to add 10 , which should go right back to 7/8/9/10 ages.
10. Surviving those pedophiles at Beaumaris Primary School , Victoria Australia 60s / 70s - They never got me , apologies to others. ( Use google if of interest , its all there )
Thanks , good question.
Great question!😊
I became number one sales person in Europe my first month ever selling... I was gonna get flied out to different countries in Europe but it stopped. (I stopped it). It took over my health, was really toxic. But am still proud of it. That's my biggest "success" accomplishment so far...(This was only for the company I work for, so about 4000 other people competing in different countries in Europe, not as big as it sounds🙁 but I'm the first one in the company to do so since they started 20 years ago) Either way it was a big deal for me at the time. But it's eh:/
Other then that some school diploma like one in music, one in math in primary school😂. But that's normal.
Other than that stopping a fire from killing a family member (i don't know if that should be called an accomplishment though?)
But most of all. The one I'm most proud of is that I have emotionally developed to the point were I don't hold grudges anymore. Evan people who wish me bad I wish them well.
I graduated from high school at 16 and started college 350 miles from home. I was an intern in the Florida Legislature, graduated from law school with honors, have practiced law for 37 years, and I am rated both very competent and very ethical by judges and my colleagues. I have been president of my congregation for 4 years, president of my alumni associaton for 5 years, and mentor young men at the local university. I overcame shyness and depression in my teen years and became a confident public speaker. I have enjoyed an active dating life until December, 2020, when met the woman who would become my fiancee.
Saved two peoples' lives, co-wrote 5 books, working on 3 of my own, acted in two movies, have 3 albums (one solo), have 2 comedy singles, a modicum of fave from being in a band for 25 years. co-directed a magic show, stayed with mom the last several months of her life when she needed me most (rather than put her into a home, like my ex-sisters wanted to do to her), met dozens of famous people, (befriended a few along the way), own over 62,000 records, never got in trouble with the police, don't drink, smoke or do drugs, edited together recordings of THE ENTIRE Woodstock concert, wrote well over 100 songs, and I'm working on a movie script, I suppose that's it.
@exitseven Right now, until I can GET my stereo up here, just my computer. With my stereo there's a turntable, two cassette decks (at least one is a double), a 10:" open reel deck and a CD recorder. Actually 2 CD recorders but the first started going wonky on me so, I bought the second. I'd like to get one of those Technics turntables that plays 78's as well as 45's and 33's. I have a few thousand 78's. Well, I DID! I'm not sure I have more than 1000, anymore, thanks to my ex-sisters!!
@exitseven Except for my first stereo cassette deck that I bought pack in `78, I've always bought Teac or Tascam.
Same with the CD recorders.
The turntable is JVC. I'm not sure why but, it won't keep a constant pitch, anymore. I've had a guy that specializes in turntables fix it but, he didn't do it much good, either. It's better than it was but still not 100%.
@exitseven I know, I did that but it never quite got it perfect and I could hear the pitch drop in the middle of a record, sometimes.
@exitseven If you mean, the platter, it's aluminum. I don't think it CAN warp.
Yeah, they've been on the comeback for the last few years but I don't see any new record stores opening. Mostly just used ones. And, with as many as I have, now, I'm not sure I wanna get into it, anymore. It was bad enough when I was at MY house, a huge 3-story place. Now I'm in this tiny two story place that used to be grandma's. Who knows if I'll EVER get all of my stuff up here from storage?
Thank you!
@FunkyMonkee No, My old Garrard turntable had as it's drive train two rubber disks that came in contact with each other and acted like a clutch. When the rubber got worn or warped the pitch would get weird. The direct drive turntable with a hysteresis motor eliminates all that.
@exitseven My JVC was brand new in the mid `80's. I've never taken it apart so, I'm not sure what drives it but, I just know that I just put the aluminum platter onto the spindle, then the rubber mat on top of that and the records go on the mat. From what I can tell, when I take the platter off, the spindle looks as though it keeps speeding up and slowing down, maybe once each per revolution. But, as soon as I put it back on, that stops. It's always been that way. Also, there was some other issue, I don't recall what but, when it started happening, the cure was the take off the platter and lay it back on the spindle gently. Apparently, having pushed it down that nano-fraction of an inch while trying to dust off the records did something to it.
Well, graduated from both high school and college with honors.
Also, I worked for three Members of Congress - starting with the first one as just a letter writer and working my way up to Legislative Director. I have also worked as a Press Secretary and worked for the U. S. Commission on Security & Cooperation in Europe and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. I was also editor of the House GOP Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare - which earned me a place on a target list for an Islamist terrorist. I have also drafted - in my House staffer role - several amendments to various bills that became law.
Beyond that, there is nothing that I am more proud of than my family. A wife who makes my world go round and three little Munchkins who brighten every day with their antics and - who along with the Mrs. - taught me what it means to be loved.

oh YES! I finally managed to make semi-edible scrambled eggs this morning! My cat ALlister sat on a kitchen chair while I did it and cheered me on!
I have not really accomplished anything so far.
What's more than an accomplishment than standing up on your own and leading a settled life being independent? I don't see any accomplishment greater than completing your own basic needs with your own work.
Glad you know now.
I got a rude mean teacher as good as fired. The video is on YouTube. I learnt English as my second language. I graduated high school. I moved to Spain.
College degree, with distinction
Medical coding and billing certification
First girlfriend was THE ONE
I've made it this far.
I have regrets.
I've accomplished some things.
I still accomplish things.
I screw some things up. I hope for forgiveness in those times.
I will continue to do either and both until I'm done.
Oh, yeah, I'm good at fishing, fixing things, and I love building guitars.

Meeting new people gives me great pleasure.
College grad was huge. I’m not academic. At least not grade wise. Those teacher assistants marked my papers up like a mob hit.
29 and no relationship. I should stop bragging about this
Aside from temporarily having a job I feel like I haven’t accomplished anything since high school…
I have BE in electrical engineering. Also I have gotten Nebosh safety courses. Attempted CSS exams too. Now looking for MBA program soon.
I don't like to brag. Anyway I will share it here. I am RAAJ, The King.🤴

I have run and finished 6 full marathons.
Congratulations. You're better than me
I could never run 26 miles. I'd end up a speed bump
@Sparkie460 I used to say the same thing. I started running after got out of high school. It was mostly out of necessity. It turns out I happen to have extra large lungs. When I had my flight physical the doc wanted to do another set of chest Xrays. i was a little freaked out but he told me my lungs were too big to completely fit on one Xray plate.
Wow. I've never heard that before
You're just a freak. Oh um that came out wrong. Sorry I did it again.
Maybe you have alien lungs. They swapped yours through your nails
i can definitely say for a fact. that if a tree falls in the woods when no one's around it will make a sound.
I’ve accomplished a lot of things but my biggest accomplishment was graduating from college. That was the best day of my life.
Raising our kids who've now flown the nest
I'm still in school so I guess getting born is the biggest thing I've done so far 😊
