Do you think nursing is feminine?

I've heard multiple men say nursing is feminine but I am aware psyche units specifically look for male nurses to deal with combative patients. Years ago my mother was a psychiatric nurse and after hearing her stories it sounds like an interesting job.

The stereotype exists probably because most caretakers are women. But no I don't consider nursing to necessarily be feminine. There are plenty of male nurses out there who are not feminine.

Yes, but it does not mean a male nurse is a feminine man or less of one. We all have masculine/feminine aspects about ourselves, but whatever is the winning majority dictates that - not your job/interests alone.

It’s a more female dominated job. But plenty of men are nurses

I’m not sure how the “nurse = woman” and “doctor = man” thing started, but it’s a very childish point of view.
