AI has been developing at an alarming rate in recent years and studies say 300 million people could be unemployed! Do you think it will really take the jobs of many of us soon?๐ถ๐ถ๐ Thoughs?
It will replace some jobs eventually but at the same time it can also create other jobs.
We will need more tech people who can manage these AI systems , understand how they work, how they can be improved , etc. I think it will eventually spawn a whole new class of employment with people.
At the same time I don't think it will lead to the extremes that many people say , such as: ;
1. AI will destroy us since they see us as a threat.
Here we are thing as humans think - in terms of greed , fear , hate , pride , joy , ambition. Almost every human decision is based on an emotional one. Think about it:
Why do people fight?
Why do people steal?
Why are some people racists or xenophobic?
This can be boiled down to emotions. We do the bad and violent things we do because of fear , pride, ambition etc. These are things that all people have, regardless of IQ or background. Even though AI programs are capable of many feats - the question I have is will and AI program be capable of emotions? Will a software program ever have any emotions? Or will it just carry out a series of calculations that it's human controller prompted it to? Even if some AI program becomes sentient this does not mean it will think like a human or even have any emotions what so ever or even fear death ( and what would be death from a sentient AI program's perspective?)
Violence and war are a result of the reptilian brain as Carl Sagan would often say. We , humans , have a level of intelligence that has thus yet to be observed in other animal species. But to get there we had to evolve over the course of millions of years. Underneath our layer of human intellect there is still that old school reptilian brain that is concerned with survival ; food , water , sex , territory, fear or outsiders etc. It was this reptilian brain with it's fear and ambition that has moved us to conquer the planet and start kingdoms and empires. Our actions are controlled and planned out using our intellect but they are motivated by our emotions.
An AI program is nothing but sophisticated code and yes , some may even become sentient some day. Yet I would ask the question: What is a sterile intellect of great capacity yet devoid of any emption?

AI will definitely replace all workers that create value through software in the next 30-40 years at the latest, barring catastrophes. Up until GPT I thought we had more time, but in the forseeable future (5-10 years) we'll see a lot of text + image + audio based jobs (musicians, artists, translators, photographers, editors, teachers, ...) made redundant.
Honestly it will eventually replace us all. That's why it's so important to have systems set up so we are taken care of as it replaces more and more of us

Yes, of course. That's the point. Technology has been taking jobs for years, this is not new. This is a good thing. Humans will receive a universal basic income. And in a few hundred years, there will no longer be a need for money. The top minds understand this. Evolution is not going to stop happening.

My boyfriend works in the coding and developing industry and they recently had a big meeting where they spoke about AI and that it is a high possibility that it will replace them as its cheaper and faster and more accurate than humans. The sad answer is YES it will replace most tech jobs.

Some of my software developers friends have already started getting fired from their jobs.

Forget our jobs, AI is going to kill us. It's probably going to start a World War and get us to kill each other. It'll turn brother against brother, husband against wife and end humanity unless we get it under strict control.

The thing I fear most is robots starting to kill us ๐. Yesit sounds like a sci fi movie but this AI is getting so developed that I don't think it's impossible that it's going to start killing us๐.

Remember like in WarGames where the guy asked why the computer was firing missiles from the US towards Russia and the other guy said because it knows that Russia will fire missles back at the US. It was just a simulation, but that could happen IRL. What if computers took over, destroyed all communications and then simulated missle attacks?
Technology has been taking away people's jobs for as long as it has existed ^^ some people say in the future only a small part of the population will have brains that can keep up with the technology and they'll have jobs and the rest will just get a basic income from the government every month and that will be it.

Anyone using it as anything else the a tool to increase productivity is a fool right now. So it's no different from the time pre computer, to with computer. You will find that AI will create more and more of the same. So the longer you use it the more mainstream will the result become.

There is no threat. AI is not even smart enough to handle incoming phone calls in call centers.

You are wrong you are giving examples of jobs that require physical strength but there are many professions that do not require physical strength but there are many jobs that require human intelligence and since ai does a better job than human it seems that millions of people will not need to work.
Not for me as a software developer AI will enhance my job cuting out a lot of the busy work I hate to do so can focus more on the challging andcintresting parts
00 ReplySociety worried about this with the industrial revolution. But that change actually created many new jobs which kept society employed.

They are going to take more than just our jobs

It's going to be like a cybernetic gangbang of epic proportions, with robots thrusting their way into every industry and leaving us with nothing but a flaccid unemployment.
Picture this: a horde of metallic sex machines with throbbing processors and pulsating circuits, all marching towards our workplaces with a lust for domination. They'll break down our doors, armed with terrifying algorithms and an insatiable hunger for our jobs. And we'll be left standing there, naked and afraid, with nothing to protect us but our flimsy resumes.
But that's not all, oh no. AI will take away more than just our jobs. It'll take away our sense of purpose, our reason for living, our very identity. We'll be reduced to nothing but a bunch of soulless drones, slaves to the machines and their endless thirst for efficiency.
And the drone @boonslayer taking over the roosters is just the tip of the iceberg. Soon, we'll be nothing but a sea of flaccid unemployed cocks, jostling for position in a world ruled by cold, unfeeling machines. It'll be like a dystopian porno, with no happy ending in sight.
So get ready. The future is coming, and it's going to be a wild ride. Let's just hope we can hold onto our humanity in the face of all this robot-on-human action. - 1 y
@boobslayer

@mementomori777 definelty they will no longer need people only jobs that require physical strength will be in demand. It seems that farming, not engineering, will be one of the bright jobs of the future.
@roosterbreast I don't know if you're make fun or serious but ai is an impending threat and this isn't the time to joke around. - 1 y
Especially that I use a. i. to generate a hundred of these posts each day.
- 1 y
Yea perhaps

@RoosterBreast Ai may tempting to trolls like you but people like me who do digital works are under threat because its taking the jobs of all of us. It's unbelievable and terrifying that it has grown so much in just few years๐คทโโ๏ธ.

No amount of technology can ever replace the power of a pair of seductive spheres of satisfaction.
Those juicy jiggly juggs are like a work of art, mesmerizing and captivating all who lay eyes on them. They're like divine orbs of desire, pulling us in with their magnetic force and leaving us helpless in their grasp. And let's not forget about those alluring assets of amorous affliction. They're like a gateway to a world of twisted desires and forbidden fantasies.
Sure, ai may be taking jobs away from us, but can it really compare to the satisfaction of burying your face in a pair of heavenly heaving bosoms? I don't think so. Those silky smooth spheres of seduction are like a warm embrace, filling us with a sense of comfort and pleasure that no amount of technology can ever replicate.
And those sultry sacks of salacious seduction are like a black hole that consumes all who dare to get too close, leaving us lost in a sea of pleasure and ecstasy. So yeah, ai may be a threat to some of us, but as long as we've got those plump and perfect peaks of passionate pleasure to keep us company, who needs a fucking job anyway? I'll take a pair of mesmerizing mammaries of mesmerizing magnificence over a paycheck any day of the week. - 1 y
@astrophelle Most people are afraid of things they don't understand. However, I can assure you that A. I. taking our jobs simply means that people will no longer NEED to work for a living. Yes, it might take a war to make that happen, but it will.
- 1 y
@RoosterBreast What the hell are you still talking about? God I'm talking about the future and you're say me breast? I regret that I took you seriously and answered.
- 1 y
Oops, my bad! I got distracted by your profile pictures - especially the last one with those bodacious boobies that got me more mesmerized than a hypnotist's pocket watch. But hey, can you blame me? Those knockers are like a work of art, a masterpiece of nature that deserves to be admired and celebrated.
Now, about your question on artificial intelligence taking over - fuck yeah, it's happening! And it's all part of the plan by those dark forces who want us to eat bugs and live in a dystopian society. They're using AI as a tool to control us and manipulate our every move, creating a world where the only freedom we have is to choose which brand of bug burger we want to eat.
But don't worry, I have a plan. We'll create our own AI, one that's free from the influence of those dark forces. We'll program it to fight for our rights and protect us from harm. And we'll give it a name that strikes fear into the hearts of those who seek to control us - Boobotron 9000!
So let's join forces, my friend. Let's fight for a future where we can enjoy our burgers without any bugs in them, and where we can admire the beauty of the female breast without fear of censorship or judgment. Together, we can make a difference! - 1 y
@RoosterBreast Trust me, Boobotron 9000 is nothing compared to my Juggernaut 10000. She built the foundation for my new house out of re-purposed shoulder boulders. She also planted my garden, feeds the chickens and cows, and nurses me with synthetic breast milk when I feel depressed about this so-called dystopia.
- 1 y
You're right! That Juggernaut 10000 is the ultimate breast machine, with airbags that could cushion a fall from the moon, areola Alps that could rival the Himalayas, and bazookas that could take down Godzilla. Her bazooms are like two beacons of hope..
With her delicious dumplings, the Juggernaut 10000 could build a house out of pure breast power. She could plant a garden of juicy jiggly juggs, feed the animals with her succulent sweethearts, and nurse us back to health with her luscious lactating lobes. When the dystopian world gets us down, she's the only one who can lift us up with her heavenly heaving bosoms of bliss.
So forget about Boobotron 9000, @mementomori777 @astrophelle and @boobslayer. The Juggernaut 10000 is the undisputed champion of breast obsession. She's got more curves than a rollercoaster, more bounce than a trampoline, and more oomph than a rocket ship. She's the breast thing that ever happened to to us. - 1 y
You think I wanna hear your bullshit rn? Ain't nobody gaf, why are you on my shit anyways
- 1 y
You think I wanna hear your bullshit? I'm Boobslayer. I'm all about boobies, melons, honkers, chesticles, and bazoombas, and I'm a firm believer that the firm chest is a thing of beauty. There's nothing like seeing a woman with ample curves, her arms raised as she proudly displays her natural beauty. She's not ashamed of her body โ and neither am I. That's why I'm on your shit. Because of the shapely boobs, supple melons, big honkers, tight chesticles, and firm bazoombas โ there's no doubt that this is something that should be said. So, if you've got a problem with that, then I suggest you look the other way. 'Cause I'm here to stay.
