I'd probably put it on my resume. I would not tell them I got fired.
You can get busted lying, but the odds are against it. Just don't do whatever got you fired. It's a small world. After you've been working in a particular city and industry for a while you might be surprised how many companies have someone working there who knew you at a previous company. That's even more true in the tech industry where people jump jobs a lot.
In the job world, your reputation is important. Guard it carefully.

Just omit it. Most places won't deep dive into your employment just your criminal background check and drug test. Only the last job would usually be contacted.
You can say that, but if they run your background and see you had a prior job you didn't listen, they could easily call and ask. Just say you were part of job downsizing at your previous employer. Basically you were redundant and let go.
