  Sorry Boobslayer missed your call -- he has been busy upgrading a pornographic call center. Without being able to run diagnostics, it's difficult to say exactly where the error lies. Try replacing the motherboard and using an external mouse.

i am certain the "mouse pad" won't work. probably cheaper to buy a new one than replace parts.
i add that turning it on can make things worse unless, at a lab, they make exceptions
