Is my male boss playing games?

Or am I just reading too much into it? I have weekly time with my boss and lately, he has been reaching out to confirm that we need to meet because he has assignments he wants to review. He might follow-up on the day of to re-confirm OR say he forgot he had committed to something else but he will give me a time that he will call. So I prepare, sit around and wait for him. Nothing.

The last few weeks, my female coworker is always the excuse for him missing our meeting. She took all his time! I’m really tired of hearing her name but even more tired of him making it seem like he really needs to meet with me and then blowing me off.

Full disclosure - there is an attraction on my part but that’s it (a limerence situation). Wondering if its my personal feelings that are making me be so annoyed with this.

Yeah I would say that you are letting personal feelings get in the way of things. You should leave those at the door when you go to work. Never a good thing to get romantically involved with coworkers let alone a boss. Maybe he doesn't feel like it is necessary to meet once a week because you are doing a good job. I would only assume that as boss he knows how everyone is performing. He also might just need to prioritize differently. Maybe there is something going on that you are unaware of that makes him have to reschedule.
