How do people focus on studying?

im so unmotivatedd, helpp
It works us to keep an agenda and what needs to be done first. Focus on what is due at an earlier time and then move on to things that are do later.
I just recently had a study for a huge exam what I did was I signed up for 2 hours a day private room in the library usually a library has a study area that you can borrow that's free of cost.
I then promised myself a reward if I got a certain amount of work done. In that reward would be followed by some play time in my case I have kids so I would take them somewhere fun.
For large task it works if you break it down and when you complete one assignment give yourself a 5- 10 minute break with a timer then move on to the next task.
Another thing to consider when you get home from school put your bags down get a healthy snack afterwards give yourself a power nap for no more than 10 minutes close your eyes for 10 minutes this helps your mind rejuvenate. This total break should be about 15 minutes no more than 20 and then get to work on your after-school assignments.
One thing that boosted my motivation when I was in school was finding a way to systemize my studies so that I don't have to be spontaneously creative at every turn of the study or writing process. Sometimes coming up with a system takes time and patience, but it reduces the load and gives you a sense of pride once you've done it and pride is a huge motivator in academia.
Consider listening to relaxation music.
For instance, this is a very good YouTube channel...

Many songs at this channel are 10 hours long. They have a slightly complex sound over about a 30-second to 1-minute period that just goes on for 10 hours. But the songs are designed to affect the brain to calm it down and the net effect is that you tune-out everything else. This enables you to concentrate on what you are doing without any form of audio disturbance.
Many of the songs will sound somewhat similar, and that is by design, but you will have your favorites.
For instance, I really like this one:
Listen to it with ear buds so you pretty much hear nothing else.
I will often work to music like this and the hours fly by.
I am currently studying, but I think of the end goal, that's getting a good job, and having a nice life. Otherwise you stuck and dead end job, can't afford to live, being depressed all the time cause you hate going into work.
And other is discipline, as mike tyson says in this video.

REMEMBER, its not forever.

Taking one thing at a time always helps me that way you don't get overwhelmed by what needs to be done. If it's a subject I don't like I do that one first and get it out of the way, that keeps me motivated to get them done knowing that the subjects I like have to be done. I hope this helps you.
I couldn't tell you. Everything I did when I was in school was done last minute.
Motivation was NOT my middle name.
I kind of promised myself rewards if I succeed my academic target of the day
Probably something like a tasty food with a movie or something at the end of the day, things that you enjoy would be of course different from mine...
If you haven’t done this, try finding a safe space outside of home. I find myself feeling a lot more motivated to do my stuff at school even though most of what I’m taught there will be as helpful as an uncharged laptop.
Whats to stop you from just eating them?
@TheSpaceGnome Nothing at all! Hahaha.
music helped me
i used to break stuff into smaller chunks and take breaks in between treat me some and shit to keep me motivated. Smaller goals really feel easy to achieve.
Study things you're interested in, and things that benefit the things you're interested in. Thats the only way to be motivated.
When I was in college, I studied and did homework to classical music. So lovely. 😊
Study for half an hour and take 5 minutes off. Repeat
An old rule says "you procrastinate something until you're really late with doing it"
It's because you are 16 , let's see if you feel the same when you reach 26
Stay away from music and TV
Staying away from music, tv, toys, and video games, stunts the brain and creativity.
I always had that problem, i have no advice
stay off gag
